The Loxone Power Supply & Backup is a DIN rail power supply unit for up to 40A. It offers seven mains-isolated outputs with 24 VDC for up to 10A each. Each output has its own fuse and power measurement. You can also connect a 36VDC battery to supply your Loxone installation with power in the event of a power failure. Of course, without interruption.

Power failure? No worries!

In the event of a power failure, the Power Supply & Backup supplies your 24V peripherals seamlessly via an external battery. If 24V lighting is integrated via Loxone, it can be automatically dimmed, thus ensuring an even longer battery life. You can also continue to open your doors using the NFC Code Touch - without a key. And the alarm system remains active even in the event of a power failure.

Advantages of individual insurance

  • If a fuse blows, you will be notified in the Loxone app. An LED on the housing also indicates the blown fuse.
  • In addition, the usual notification types (push, call, email) can be used.
  • Saves space and extra terminals in the distributor, as each outlet can be protected according to the cable cross-section.

Which battery is the right one?

We recommend 36VDC lead-acid batteries (e.g. sealed gel or AGM batteries) with a capacity of up to 200 Ah (see data sheet for details).

Tip: If the router to which the Miniserver is connected is supplied via a voltage regulator that is connected to the Power Supply & Backup, the Miniserver will remain externally accessible and will keep you informed.
